Born Tough - Zippered Hoodie Review

I ordered the Born Tough zippered hoodie (Metal Gray) BT5000GR-XL and wore it out for a run the day I received it. I’m extremely pleased with the pockets in general. The kangaroo pouch kept my hands warm during my warm up walk.

I usually run with my massive iPhone 11 Pro Max and have a constant fear of it bouncing out of wherever I stash it. Not with this hoodie! Ample room inside the zippered pockets for wallet, phone, and keys. The hood is spacious as well.

The material is very soft and it kept me warm in the cold weather. The black was sold out but I’m pretty happy with the color I chose as an alternative. According to my wife, I look very stylish…I’ll take her word for that.

I ordered the XL since I was about 20 lbs heavier than normal, and the fit was still nice. To date, I’m down about 15 lbs and the fit is even better. Still a little snug in around the armpits, though. I’ve always enjoyed a looser fit, but find that sometimes certain hoodies run small. If I ordered the L, I think it’d def be too small on me, so I’m glad I stuck with the XL. I still have about 10 lbs to lose, so it may be perfect once I’m back to my 6’1’’, 182 lbs frame.

All in all, I LOVE this hoodie. I’m truly impressed with the Born Tough design and the care they put into their clothing clearly shows. I recommend this to anybody who runs, or wants to stash items during a workout without worrying about running out of space. I look forward to many more workouts in this.
